The need for aircraft management services....
As any aircraft owner/operator knows, today's aircraft maintenance record keeping has become more complicated than it was in the past. Also newer aircraft systems take advantage of modern electronic technologies that use databases and firmware that must be kept up to date for safe and legal operations.
The aircraft owner/operator is held responsible by the FAA for compliance with all required maintenance, including component inspection/retirement, Airworthiness Directives, calendar and flight hour interval inspections.
From time to time we have seen aircraft that have overflown maintenance requirements without the owner being aware of the fact.
